FINE WINETOURISM MARKETPLACE ITALY LAUNCHES: THE FIRST ITALIAN EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO WINE TOURISM
The two-day event, scheduled to take place at the Riva del Garda Conference Centre on 28th and 29th October 2025, is the result of a collaborative agreement between Riva del Garda Fierecongressi and Feria de Valladolid. An initiative that aims to serve as a reference platform for Italian wine tourism, with dedicated spaces for B2B meetings and an exhibition area showcasing the most prominent wine and tourism enterprises from Italy and beyond.
This morning, at the ITAS Forum in Trento, FINE Wine Tourism Marketplace Italy – the first Italian exhibition solely dedicated to wine tourism – was officially presented, the product of a successful partnership between Riva del Garda Fierecongressi and Feria de Valladolid.
The event, to be held at the Riva del Garda Conference Centre on 28th and 29th October 2025, draws on the proven success of the Spanish trade fair body: an innovative format featuring a dedicated B2B meeting area as the heart of its activities, complemented by an exhibition space where wineries will be showcased and supported by local promoters of wine tourism. The program will include conferences, networking activities and fam trips throughout the region, with the goal of promoting valuable connections and new growth opportunities for the participating businesses while simultaneously highlighting Italy’s most captivating wine regions. “This is an ambitious international project, a significant opportunity for collaboration between two great countries, Spain and Italy, made possible by the synergy between two prestigious trade fair bodies,” points out Roberto Pellegrini, President of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. “It’s an initiative that strengthens our Company’s presence in both domestic and international markets and opens up new avenues for growth, with promising and long-lasting results.”
Italian wine tourism is a vital segment of the national wine industry, linking products to territories and further contributing to the success of the Made in Italy brand. “We are honoured that Feria de Valladolid has chosen to consolidate its internationalisation efforts right here in Riva del Garda,” states Alessandra Albarelli, Managing Director of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi. “This choice reaffirms the value of our city and the entire Trentino region as premier destinations which, thanks to their strategic position, serve as true hubs for European markets, offering outstanding opportunities for growth, networking and international visibility.”
FINE WineTourism Italy will welcome leading wineries, consortia, associations, wine tourism destinations and Wine Routes from not only Italy but also Spain, Portugal and France. The event will serve as a prime showcase of the richness and diversity characterising Southern European territories and their wine offerings, providing participants with a unique opportunity to discover traditions, flavours and top-tier products. “This is the first time that one of our events extends beyond Spanish borders, and we are excited to embark on this journey in collaboration with Riva del Garda Fierecongressi,” declares Alberto Alonso, Managing Director of Feria de Valladolid. “In Valladolid, we have welcomed professionals from all over the world: tour operators, specialised agencies, wineries, hotels and Wine Routes. With FINE, however, we aim to expand beyond national boundaries, confident that Riva del Garda and Trentino represent the ideal location to bring together wine tourism experts from Italy and other countries dedicated to advancing this industry.”
The press conference also featured Roberto Failoni, Councillor for Handicrafts, Commerce, Tourism, Forests, Hunting and Fishing of the Autonomous Province of Trento, who highlighted how the event presents an extraordinary opportunity for both the wine and hospitality sectors, “an initiative in which our Province has believed from the start. I am certain that this occasion will allow us to develop an even more diverse and appealing tourism offering.”
“The event aligns with the Mese del Gusto (Flavour Month), an initiative dedicated to promoting the products of the Upper Garda region,” remarked Silvio Rigatti, President of Garda Dolomiti. “Thus, Fine WineTourism Marketplace Italy represents a meeting point that will further highlight the remarkable beauty of Trentino and Garda, with the hope that many industry players will seize this opportunity.”
Victor Caramanzana, President of the Feria de Valladolid Executive Committee, sent his greetings, emphasising that “Italy is a crucial market for wine tourism, and the collaboration with Riva del Garda Fierecongressi will also enable companies from Valladolid and throughout Spain to integrate effectively.”
